Considered a tear down by most, this Bob Lewis post & beam sat on the market for over a year before the new owner decided to pull the trigger. Working with architect Peter Rayher, this 1961 classic was saved and remastered into one of the featured homes on the West Van Museum’s annual Modernism Tour. An overhaul of the existing structure plus a 900 sq foot addition for their mother in law. Increased density without losing a tree. The upstairs studio was featured on the Herman Miller design blog and reposted by the uber popular Apartment Therapy.
